- Event-Related Information: Details about the events you create, such as event names, descriptions, locations, and schedules.
- Verification Data: We may request your phone number for account verification and fraud prevention purposes.
2.3 Sales and Marketing Leads
If you engage with our sales team, we may collect:
- Professional Contact Information: Your name, email address, phone number, and business address.
- Meeting Recordings: With your consent, we may collect audio and/or video recordings during meetings for training and quality purposes.

4. Event Communication
Motionmate faciliatees communication between organisers and users. Organisers may contact users regarding event details, updates, or inquiries through the app. Users can choose to contact organisers directly through provided communication channels within the app.
5. Payments
Motionmate uses Stripe as our third-party payment gateway to process payments securely for both users and organisers.
5.1 User Payments
- Secure Payment Processing: All user payments for event bookings are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment gateway. This ensures that your payment information (such as credit card details) is encrypted and handled securely.
- No Storage of Financial Information: We do not store your complete payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all sensitive payment information, adhering to industry-standard security measures.
5.2 Organiser Payouts
- Bank Details and PayID Collection: To faciliatee event payments, we collect bank details (account name, BSB, account number) or PayID from organisers. This information is required to transfer the revenue generated from event bookings directly to the organiser's nominated bank account or PayID.
- Payout Processing: Once an event is completed, Motionmate initiates the transfer of funds to the organiser's provided bank account or PayID, minus any applicable service fees.
5.3 Third-Party Payment Services

11.2 Hobby-Based Events Without ABN
For organisers running events as a hobby, an ABN is not required according to the ATO guidelines. If your events are conducted for personal enjoyment without the intention to make a profit, they are considered hobby activities. Motionmate does not require an ABN for such events, but you are responsible for ensuring that your activities align with the ATO’s definition of a hobby. 11.3 Tax Obligations
It is the organiser's responsibility to comply with applicable tax obligations. Motionmate does not provide tax advice; we recommend consulting a tax professional to understand your specific obligations when running events through our platform.

12. Sub-Domains
If we provide organisers with a sub-domain for their events (e.g., [sub-domain prefix].motionmate.com.au), it remains our property. The right to use a sub-domain is granted as long as the organiser is actively hosting events and complies with these Terms.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated Privacy Policy, and the revised date will be indicated at the top of this page. We will notify users of material changes through an in-app notification or email communication.
